Still on the topic of housewives:
I've come to the realisation this week, that most people can't respond normally/appropriately when I tell them that I'm a housewife.. simply because they do not know how to! Their natural response is to go all tongue-tied and try to awkwardly change the subject or go the other extreme - start babbling alot and all at once. I'm only too familiar with the latter -
