On my first weekend in Hobart, there was a Regatta Day long weekend - it coincided with CNY, which we (kinda) celebrated with a few different groups of people, so I'd have to say I had a rather cool first weekend in Hobart:)
The festive lasted 3 days beginning Saturday, with Monday being a public holiday for the main boat racing events (but I overslept and missed it =_____=)
